Aluva: On the occasion of the unveiling the logo of Aluva municipality during its centenary celebration, actor Dileep, who was the chief guest made a touching speech. He expressed his heart-felt gratitude to the people of Aluva, who stood by him during the bad or perhaps the worst phase in his life.
At the function held the other day in Aluva, Dileep said that he is in a battle for justice and truth and that he expects the support of the people of Aluva.
When Dileep talked, the audience very well understood that he was alluding to the actress abduction case, though he didn’t make any explicit mention of it. Dileep has been charged for conspiracy and had to serve three months in Aluva prison.
“You all know the main problem I’m going through in my life now. When I was released from the prison, it was the people of Aluva who reached there to support me and cheer me up. At that time, I could see and sense your love and support.
Even at this moment, you have not kept me away. For me, this moment when you hold me close to you and say that you are with me... is priceless. I have no words to describe this. I’m now in a battle for justice and truth. I honestly pray for your continued support and prayers”, said Dileep emotionally.
The function took place in connection with the one-year-long centenary celebrations of Aluva municipality. Dileep revealed the new logo and theme song at the ceremony. Municipality chairman MO John and vice chairperson Jebi Methar were also present on the occasion.
