Angeline Ruddy, her husband and three children know their dream home has to be demolished. It is less than 15 years old, but like thousands of home owners suffering from the devastating fallout of the so-called mica scandal in Ireland, they are faced with the reality that the walls of their homes, now crumbling, will ultimately collapse. She speaks of the terrible toll it is taking on the community and her school where 25 out of 60 staff also live in mica homes, saying that it is causing mental and financial anguish that is destroying lives
